Stop Sex Matters spreading transphobic hate

The anti-trans pressure group Sex Matters are running a campaign of hate, spewing abuse online and in the media – and putting trans people in danger.

Sex Matters say they work to “protect everybody’s human rights”, but they’ve been attacking trans people. We’ve identified 46 examples, including harassment and discrimination, which we think break charity law.

We’ve sent the list to the Charity Commission and the culture minister, Lisa Nandy. It’s time for them to use all their powers to stop Sex Matters putting trans people at risk.

They might try to keep ignoring it, but we won’t let them. Together, we can stop Sex Matters spreading hate about trans people. We just need to force the Charity Commission and the government to confront the facts.

Email the Charity Commission and the culture minister now, and make sure they stop charities spreading hate.
